Is the hedgehog offering an apple? Or getting ready to eat an apple, which he does each day? Who knows? All we know is that a hedgehog stands next to an apple beside a tree trunk.
I painted this hedgehog on heavy 9 x 12 paper with acrylic paints. It was created to be used as a card to celebrate autumn and the first turning of leaves.
