Penny the pug is a rescue who lives with her guardian and a pug boy in New York. This dog custom painting was commissioned as part of a fundraiser to help pugs with medical needs. I first asked for 3-5 photographs, then sketched painting ideas from those photographs. I asked for sketch approval before starting to paint. Once I was at 90%, I again asked for approval. In this case, I tweaked the eyes to make them a bit more lively. The pug dog painting is done!
